Amy, a native Minnesotan, embarked on her acting journey in the third grade, taking on the role of a field mouse in a production of Snow White and the Seven Dwarves. Following her graduation from Edina High School in Edina, Minnesota, Amy pursued her passion for the performing arts by enrolling in the theater department at Northwestern University. After completing her studies, she made the move to New York City, where she had the opportunity to work with esteemed organizations such as the Joseph Papp/Public Theatre, the Atlantic Theatre Company, SITI Company, and the Looking Glass Theatre. Additionally, Amy co-founded the Open Door Mime Company, further solidifying her commitment to the art form.
Upon relocating to Los Angeles, Amy joined the Hothouse Improv Studio and went on to perform with various theatre companies throughout the city. Her extensive experience in the industry also led to numerous appearances in short films, showcasing her versatility as a performer.
