Amrinder Singh Gill, a multifaceted individual, is a renowned Punjabi singer, songwriter, actor, and film producer. His journey in the entertainment industry began in 2000 with the release of his debut album "Apni Jaan Ke".
Born and raised in Boorchand, Amritsar, Punjab, Gill was educated at Khalsa College, Amritsar, where he earned a master's degree in agriculture science. He is an alumnus of Guru Nanak Dev University, and during his college days, he actively participated in Bhangra dance performances as a support artist for notable personalities like Sarbjit Cheema.
Prior to embarking on his singing career, Gill worked as a Manager at the Ferozepur Central Cooperative Bank.
Gill made his acting debut in the 2009 Punjabi film "Munde UK De", directed by Manmohan Singh, in a supporting role alongside Jimmy Shergill and Neeru Bajwa. He subsequently appeared in "Ik Kudi Punjab Di", also directed by Manmohan Singh, in a lead role.
In 2012, Gill starred in "Taur Mittran Di" for Jimmy Shergill productions, alongside Surveen Chawla and Rannvijay Singh. Although the film received a below-average response, it held the seventh highest opening day in Punjabi cinema. His subsequent films, "Tu Mera 22 Main Tera 22" and "Saadi Love Story", co-starring Diljit Dosanjh, Neeru Bajwa, and Surveen Chawla, respectively, were well-received by audiences.
Gill's 2014 release, "Daddy Cool Munde Fool", earned him critical acclaim and commercial success. His subsequent films, "Goreyan Nu Daffa Karo" and "Angrej", cemented his position as a talented actor in the Punjabi film industry. The latter, released in 2015, is widely regarded as his best performance to date.
In 2017, Gill starred in the blockbuster films "Lahoriye" and "Love Punjab", further solidifying his status as a leading star in Pollywood. Both films received widespread critical acclaim and commercial success, garnering praise from audiences and critics alike.
