Biography

Amin Hayai, a renowned Iranian actor, has accumulated an impressive array of accolades throughout his career, including two prestigious Crystal Simorgh awards, three Hafez Awards, and an honorary diploma from the Iran's Film Critics and Writers Association, in addition to being nominated for an Iran Cinema Celebration Award.

Early in his career, Hayai began acting in theater while pursuing his education, eventually transitioning to military service where he continued to hone his craft at the art center of the air force army. In 1991, he collaborated with director Soraya Ghasemi on a theatrical show for children, marking a significant milestone in his development as a performer.

After a period of time, Hayai secured a leading role in a film, and his breakthrough performance in Eve's Red Apple was followed by a Best Male Actor award at the Fajr Film Festival for his role in "The Night" directed by Rasoul Sadr-Ameli in 2008.

In recent years, Hayai has continued to appear in notable films, including Woodpecker in 2018, and We Like You Miss Yaya, which he filmed in 2017. His outstanding performance in Blazing earned him a Diploma Honorary for Best Actor at the Fajr Film Festival in 2018.

Beyond his work in film, Hayai has also ventured into television, serving as a judge on the inaugural Iranian Talent Show, Asre Jadid, produced by Ehsan Alikhani in 2019.
