Amin El Gamal, an American actor of Egyptian, Lebanese, and Palestinian heritage, who identifies as he/they, has made a significant mark in the entertainment industry.
Following the completion of his Master of Fine Arts in Acting from the University of Southern California's School of Dramatic Arts, Amin El Gamal secured roles in several notable television shows, including The Newsroom in 2012, Shameless in 2011, and The Librarians in 2014.
In 2017, Amin El Gamal gained widespread recognition for his portrayal of the sinister character Cyclops on the Prison Break revival, making him the first openly queer Muslim actor to play a leading role on a TV show.
