Ameriie, a talented triple-threat actress, dancer, singer-songwriter, and producer, burst onto the global music scene in 2005 with the chart-topping single "1 Thing". Since then, she has continued to evolve and push the boundaries of her creative expression.
Born in Fitchburg, Massachusetts, Ameriie was raised by her Korean-born mother, Mi Suk, an artist, and her African-American father, Charles Rogers, a military man. Her father's military career led to the family's relocation to various parts of the world, including South Korea, Germany, Texas, and Alaska. This nomadic upbringing instilled in Ameriie a strong sense of self and adaptability, which served her well in her future endeavors.
Ameriie's academic pursuits took her to Georgetown University, where she earned a Bachelor's degree in English and Fine Arts/Design. After securing a record deal shortly after graduation, she released her debut album "All I Have", which showcased her unique blend of live instrumentation and vocalization. Her subsequent album "Touch" solidified her position as a rising star in the music industry, thanks in part to the massive success of the go-go-inspired track "1 Thing".
In 2007, Ameriie released "Because I Love It", which featured a hip-hop electro sound that has since become a staple in pop music. Following the release of her third critically acclaimed album, Ameriie decided to reposition herself in the industry. She parted ways with Sony and co-founded the entertainment company Feeniix Rising Entertainment with her business partner Lennie Nicholson.
The singer's subsequent album "In Love & War" was a bold fusion of hip-hop, soul, and rock, drawing inspiration from her tumultuous past relationships. The album's raw emotion and honesty resonated with fans worldwide.
Currently, Ameriie is working on her latest project, "Cymatika", which promises to be an album that explores the driving forces behind human passion and creativity. Building on the electronic and trance elements of her previous work, "Cymatika" is set to be a groundbreaking release.
In addition to her music, Ameriie is also pursuing her passion for writing. She is currently working on three books: a fiction novel, a guide book for young girls and teens, and a wedding planning book with celebrity wedding planner Tiffany Nieves-Cook.
