Amanda Dole, a native of Sydney, Australia, was born in January 1965 and spent her formative years at a Brigidine convent in St Ives, situated on Sydney's Upper North Shore. Her introduction to the public eye occurred at the tender age of 16, when she became the youngest Playmate of the Month in Australian Playboy's December 1981 edition. This early exposure led to a minor role in the 1982 film Dead Easy, marking the beginning of her foray into the entertainment industry.
Amanda's subsequent appearances in Playboy, including a second pictorial in October 1982, were met with fanfare, with her being touted as "sexy, starstruck, and just seventeen." Her Playboy career culminated in her being crowned Australian Playboy's Playmate Of The Year in 1983.
However, Amanda's breakthrough role in the 1987 film Pandemonium ultimately proved to be a commercial flop, leading her to drift away from the spotlight.
