Alyssa, a quadruple threat, embarked on a multifaceted career in modeling, acting, singing, and dancing from a tender age of five. Growing up on a farm in Utopia, Canada, she was surrounded by a menagerie of animals, including horses, dogs, fish, a cat, birds, and the occasional bunny.
Her idyllic childhood was complemented by the loving presence of her amazing mother, father, and younger sister. Alyssa's early years were marked by her involvement in the musical theater company, The Strolling Youth Players, where she performed in over 200 shows across seven years.
Parallel to her theatrical pursuits, Alyssa honed her skills in various dance styles, including ballet, jazz, modern, hip hop, and swing. She also developed a passion for piano, dedicating twelve years to mastering the instrument, despite enduring broken elbows during her ten-year stint in gymnastics.
As her star continued to rise, Alyssa's face became a familiar sight on magazine pages, gracing the covers of Cosmopolitan, Self, Seventeen, Maxim, and YM, among others. She also appeared in independent films and a nationwide Conair hair commercial while residing in New York City for four years.
Alyssa's foray into television included a stint on MTV's Damage Control, where she had an adrenaline-fueled experience. Although her role in Melinda and Melinda was relatively small, she felt honored to have been a part of the project and didn't mind sharing a romantic on-screen kiss with Johnny Lee Miller.
When not working on her various projects, Alyssa can be found at her piano, indulging in her love of music. While she may eventually share her talents with the world, for now, music serves as her escape.
