Ally Warren, a talented individual, was born and raised in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Her early foray into acting began with a memorable role as the Partridge in a Pear Tree in the "Twelve Days of Christmas" during her grade one year at Cedar Park Elementary School in Pointe Claire, Quebec.
Warren's passion for acting led her to formally study the craft with various teachers and methods, including Master Classes in American Film Acting with Jeff Corey and the Stanislavski Method with Aleksey Batalov from the Moscow Art Theater. She also attended the University of British Columbia (UBC),where she pursued her Bachelor of Arts (BA) and Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in acting, with a strong foundation in Shakespeare's "Olde Folio".
During her time at UBC, Warren had the opportunity to direct the play "The Virtuous Burglar", a Nobel Peace Prize-winning play by Dario Fo, on the Main Stage of the Frederic Wood Theatre, working alongside an ensemble cast of nine actors, including herself as the Second Burglar. After graduating, Warren went on to coach other actors and co-found the Royal International Film College, serving as the Director of Film Acting Studies.
Warren's acting career has been marked by several notable roles, including "The Steak Broker" in the short film "The Food & I" (2002),which won the Special Jury Prize at Italy's Invideo Film Festival. She also won the Best Actress award at the Persistence of Vision Film Festival for her portrayal of Gail, a cancer patient who struggles with mental health issues in the short film "The Tumor".
Beyond her acting pursuits, Warren is an accomplished equestrienne, often called upon to wrangle horses and other animals on film sets, both on and off camera. She has held various leadership positions within the horse community, including Vice-President of Horse Council BC and VP/Director of Zone 5 (Vancouver Lower Mainland/Squamish/Pemberton).
Warren has also been involved with New Stride Thoroughbred Adoption Society, serving on the Board and helping to assess, train, and place horses into new homes and second careers after racing. She has worked closely with renowned horse trainer Jonathan Field, transcribing and editing his book "The Art of Liberty Training for the Horse".
As a natural horsemanship horse trainer and horse whisperer, Warren has worked as a ringside videographer and photographer, capturing the talents of international and FEI-level horses and riders in various equestrian disciplines, including Grand Prix, Hunter Jumper, Dressage, and Eventing, for seven years. Her stepmother is a prominent figure in the equestrian world, serving on the Board of the FEI and founder of the Antigua Barbuda Horse Society, as well as owner of the Antigua Equestrian Centre on the Eastern Caribbean Island of Antigua.
