Allen's acting career began at the tender age of seven, when he took on the role of George Washington in the Solomon Schecter Elementary School's 2nd grade production of "George Washington & Abraham Lincoln go to Sesame Street". Although this early endeavour did not lead to a Broadway debut, Allen's passion for the craft only grew stronger, prompting him to attend acting and film school at New York University. Following his academic pursuits, Allen made the bold decision to relocate to Los Angeles, where he has since established himself as a talented performer with an impressive repertoire.
Notably, Allen has made a lasting impression on the television landscape, boasting an impressive resume that includes over 150 national and regional commercials. Among his most recognizable roles is that of the iconic "A&W Guy" in Canada, for which he has been a staple of the long-running A&W Restaurants campaign.
On a more personal note, Allen shares his life with his loving wife, Beth Lulu, and their two children, Zoe and Zachary. Tragedy struck in 2006, when their daughter Elizabeth passed away due to complications from Cystic Fibrosis. In the aftermath of this devastating loss, Allen and Beth created the Elizabeth Lulu Scholarship Foundation, a scholarship program dedicated to supporting college-bound students living with CF.
