Alix, a native of South Florida, spent nearly a decade honing her craft in the vibrant theatre scene of New York City, where she not only made a name for herself in the world of industrial/commercial and film, but also had the opportunity to tour the country alongside her husband, Dodd Loomis, the esteemed resident director of Disney's beloved production of "The Lion King". Prior to her time on the East Coast, Alix was an integral part of the thriving South Florida theatre community, earning a prestigious Best Actress Carbonell nomination for her captivating portrayal of "Aldonza" in the iconic production of "Man of La Mancha", a role she has had the privilege of playing an impressive three times. Today, Alix and her husband reside in the charming city of New Orleans, where she continues to pursue her passion for theatre and film, having graduated from the University of Miami with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Musical Theatre.
