In 2023, her feature film Ariel: Back to Buenos Aires garnered widespread recognition, claiming top honors at the San Diego International Film Festival, Arizona International Film Festival, and Mumbai International Film Festival. This poignant tale follows a brother and sister as they return to Argentina, their birthplace, and discover the allure of tango, as well as dark family secrets. The film is now available on various platforms, having initially premiered in select theaters.
Murray's documentary Caprichosos de San Telmo, shot on location in Buenos Aires, made its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival, further solidifying her commitment to empowering marginalized communities.
Her documentary Carny, which delved into the secret lives of fairground workers, received widespread broadcast attention on the Sundance Channel, Channel 4 UK, and TVOntario. The film premiered at the Hot Docs Festival and went on to win the Best Documentary prize at the Brooklyn International Film Festival.
Murray's fictional feature debut, Mouth to Mouth, showcased her distinctive choreographic style, weaving a powerful narrative about a search for belonging.
