Alison Lani, a talented individual born and raised on Chicago's South Side, began her journey in the world of theatre while attending high school. During her time at Ithaca College, she earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree and later moved to Chicago to pursue her career in the thriving theatre community.
Alison had the privilege of studying under renowned professionals such as Michael Gellman from The Second City and Steve Scott from Goodman Theatre. She began producing her own short-form content while performing in various regional and Chicago-based theaters, including Chicago Dramatists, Cleveland Playhouse, First Folio Theatre, Writers Theatre, Sierra Madre Playhouse, and the late Redmoon Theatre.
Her favorite stage role to date is Laura in the Cleveland Playhouse's production of "The Glass Menagerie", opposite Linda Purl.
After relocating to Los Angeles, Alison hit the ground running, taking on various roles to gain a deeper understanding of the industry from different perspectives. She has worked in casting, talent management, development, and production.
Alison's acting credits include her role as the nerdy female protagonist in the cult horror flick "Hardhat", directed by David Worth, and her portrayal of Belinda Kowaleski in Sony's super-hero drama "Powers", opposite Shartlo Copely, Susan Heyward, and Teri Wyble.
