Biography

Alia Janine, a multifaceted individual, was born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, before relocating to Los Angeles and New York City, where she currently resides.

Prior to her career shift, Alia spent 10 years in the adult entertainment industry, showcasing her talents as a feature dancer, adult model, and actress. During this time, she also explored the mainstream side of entertainment, appearing in films, cable movies, comedy sketches, news reports, books, and radio programs.

In 2012, Alia retired from the adult industry and relocated to New York City to pursue a career in comedy. To hone her skills, she attended courses at UCB (Upright Citizen's Brigade),Manhattan Comedy School, and Rick Crom's Comedy School.

Since transitioning to comedy, Alia has performed at renowned clubs, including The Stand, The Comedy Cellar, Stand Up NY, and Gotham Comedy Club, sharing the stage with notable comedians such as Dave Attell, Jay Oakerson, Christian Finnegan, Monroe Martin, Brody Stevens, Yannis Pappas, Jay Pharoah, Brian Redban, Duncan Trussell, and Sam Tripoli.

Alia has also made appearances on popular national radio shows, including Sirius XM's Sway in the Morning, The Jason Ellis Show, The Judith Regan Show, Derek and Romaine, The Jay Thomas Show, and "My Wife Hates Me" with comedians Rich Vos and Bonnie MacFarlane. She has also been featured on numerous podcasts, such as The Legion of Skanks, Two White Guys, The Mad Scientist Party Hour, and the Ploof is in the Pudding.

In addition to her comedic pursuits, Alia has been featured on hip-hop star 50 Cent's website Thisis50.com, Vice.com, and The Daily Dot. She has written blogs and appeared on the comedy website LaughSpin.com.

Alia is also the host of her own podcast, The Scatterbrains Podcast, where she discusses topics such as sex education, informative and funny interviews, and her take on current events. The podcast is part of her new podcast network, The Misfits Network, which she founded to help talented podcasters gain recognition in a competitive market.

Furthermore, Alia produces her own monthly comedy show, "Cut-Throat Comedy," at the world-famous Cutting Room in New York City, featuring many of today's top comedians.

In her personal life, Alia is an undergraduate pursuing a degree in Psychology online. She has been inducted into numerous national and international honor societies, demonstrating her dedication to academic excellence and personal growth.
