Ali's educational journey began at Wellesley College, where she delved into the world of art history. Following her graduation, she ventured into the realm of fashion magazines, laying the groundwork for a successful career. Her fascination with fashion photography ultimately led her to become a renowned top model, a profession she pursued until 1968. It was during this period that she made a late foray into the world of film, largely due to her marriage to the illustrious Steve McQueen. Despite the sporadic nature of her film career, the movies she did make were either resoundingly successful or moderately so. Notable films include Goodbye, Columbus (1969),Love Story (1970),The Getaway (1972),Convoy (1978),Players (1979),Just Tell Me What You Want (1980),and The Winds of War (1983). Today, the former Hollywood star leads a surprisingly humble existence in the picturesque state of New Mexico.
