Alfred, initially introduced as Alfred Sandwina, was the offspring of Katie Sandwina, a renowned Austrian-born strongwoman of her era, celebrated for her extraordinary physical prowess, which included the remarkable feat of shattering chains, warping iron bars, and lifting his 165-pound father, Max Heymann, overhead with a single hand, as well as skillfully executing the manual of arms in place of a rifle, with Max serving as her makeshift partner.
