Alexei, a stage and screen actor, was born and raised in the vibrant city of New York. He began his artistic journey by training at the esteemed Barrow Group, where he honed his craft under the guidance of Seth Barrish. He then further developed his skills at T. Schreiber Studios, led by the experienced Peter Jensen, and the Michael Chekhov Studio, mentored by the renowned Lenard Petit.
As a performer, Alexei has taken the stage by storm, securing lead roles in numerous off-Broadway productions. One of his most notable performances was as the character Michal in the critically acclaimed play "The Pillowman". He also portrayed an activist Catholic priest in Nylon Fusion Collective's original production of "Incendiary Agents", showcasing his versatility as an actor.
In addition to his stage work, Alexei has made a name for himself in the world of screen acting. He has starred in a variety of independent shorts, including the Iraq war veteran in "The Exterminator", opposite the talented Anthony Chisholm of "Oz". He also co-wrote and co-starred in "The Session", which took home the prestigious 1st prize at the 2016 Montreal International Film Festival.
Most recently, Alexei has been seen in his series regular role as a Russian SVR agent in the hit TV series "Condor" Season 2, airing on Epix. He has also appeared in the short film "Tito", which is currently making the festival circuit, and will soon be seen in a guest star role on The Equalizer (season 5).
Despite his Slavic-inspired name and some SAG credits as Slavic type characters, Alexei is proud to be 100% born and bred in New York City, with a strong Irish heritage. He has also had the opportunity to train and perform at the renowned Magnet Theater in NYC.
