Alexandra Stewart, a talented individual, was born in the vibrant city of Montreal in the year 1939. At the tender age of 16, she embarked on an exciting journey to the City of Light, Paris, to pursue her passion for art, English literature, and French. Her time in Paris was short-lived, as she made her film debut in her first feature film mere months later.
Enchanted by the beauty and charm of Paris, she chose to reside there for an extended period. During this time, she explored various career paths, including modeling and acting, making her presence known in French cinema with the film "Les motards" in 1959.
As her career progressed, she took to the open road, traveling across Europe before making the bold move to Hollywood in 1965. Her extensive filmography boasts a wide range of critically acclaimed projects, including Otto Preminger's "Exodus" (1960),Louis Malle's "The Fire Within" (1963) and "Black Moon" (1975),in which she shares a personal connection with the director as the mother of his child.
