Alexander was born in Athens, Greece, and spent the early years of his life traveling Europe with his parents. In 1978, his family relocated to San Diego, California, where he spent most of his childhood. However, he continued to travel back and forth between the United States and Europe, developing a worldly perspective.
At the age of 15, Alexander moved to Louisiana, where his father resided, and later spent time in Tennessee. His father's influence played a significant role in his life, and Alexander's military service in Switzerland was a defining experience. As a pilot in the artillery branch, he fulfilled his mandatory military requirements and received two notable medals for his exceptional skills.
Alexander's mother played a crucial role in encouraging him to prioritize his education. He excelled at the Swiss Hotel Management School, serving as president of his class and completing two years of a three-year program. He then embarked on a colorful career in hotel management, working in various Swiss hotels and resorts, including the Intercontinental Hotel in Geneva. His passion for the theater world led him to gain acting experience, and he also ventured into business, founding an AC car rental agency in Geneva's bustling center ville.
Alexander's reputation as a respected member of the international community led to an esteemed invitation. He had the privilege of driving the United States Patent Director, Bill Lehman, in the Presidential Motorcade during the 50th anniversary World Trade Organization annual meeting and celebration at the United Nations headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland, in 1997.
In 2000, Alexander relocated to New Orleans, where he pursued his business ventures. His father helped him establish himself in the market and trade show arena, and he soon seized the opportunity to launch a furniture retail business and an off-road ATV dealership, which he operated from 2000 to 2008.
Alexander's friendship with John Butte, a songwriter for the HBO TV show "TREME," and John's mother opened doors to the world of entertainment. He has since become rooted in the northshore of New Orleans, where he spends his free time with his son, Andrew Alexander Eldimiati.
