Alexander Dubcek, a Slovak politician of great significance, was born on November 27, 1921, and went on to have a distinguished career, serving as the First Secretary of the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Czechoslovakia (KSC),effectively the leader of the country, from January 1968 to April 1969.
During his tenure, Dubcek attempted to reform the communist government, a bold endeavor known as the Prague Spring, with the aim of bringing about positive change to the country.
