Alexander Ahndoril was born in the year 1967 in the charming town of Upplands Väsby, located in the heart of Stockholm, Sweden's capital city. At the tender age of 22, Alexander made his literary debut with the captivating love story titled "Den äkta kvinnan" or "The True Woman" in 1989. Since then, he has authored a remarkable nine novels, screenplays, radio scripts, and stage plays that have garnered widespread attention and acclaim.

One of his most notable works is the novel "Regissören" or "The Director", published in 2006, which offers a fascinating glimpse into the life of the renowned Swedish film director Ingmar Bergman. Moreover, Alexander has a remarkable collaborative partnership with his wife, Alexandra Coelho Ahndoril, under the pseudonym Lars Kepler. Together, they have created the incredibly popular and bestselling Joona Linna series, which has sold an astonishing twelve million copies in 40 different languages.
