Alexa, a classically trained British-Canadian actor, earned her Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Acting from The Manchester School of Theatre, a renowned conservatoire drama school, in 2013. Her impressive television debut occurred in 2008, when she appeared in Channel 4's highly acclaimed series 'Skins'. Since transitioning to film in 2014, Alexa has garnered numerous Best Actress awards from prestigious international film festivals.
Notably, she co-starred in the BAFTA-nominated short film 'Standby' in 2016, as well as feature films 'The Rise and Fall of the Krays' in 2016 and 'The Colour of Spring' in 2021. Her extensive screen acting training continued in Vancouver under the guidance of esteemed acting coach Andrew McIlroy of McIlroy & Associates.
In addition to her acting pursuits, Alexa is a talented writer and producer, with her own projects receiving recognition at prominent international film festivals and script writing competitions, as well as from The British Film Institute (BFI). Her most recent endeavour was co-starring in the feature film 'Late', a unique cinematic experience shot in just six single takes.
