Alex Shofner is a renowned filmmaker who hails from Nashville, Tennessee, where he was born and raised. This accomplished individual was awarded a prestigious National Merit Scholarship, which enabled him to pursue his higher education at the University of Florida.
Upon graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Finance in 2008, Alex ventured into the world of filmmaking, where he has had the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects, including commercials, music videos, and feature films, across two different countries.
Throughout his career, Alex has demonstrated his versatility by producing and directing a number of short films, which have garnered significant attention and acclaim at various international film festivals. In 2010, he co-founded Poet Zero, a production company, along with co-director Takashi Doscher and three other like-minded individuals.
Located in Nashville, Poet Zero is currently developing several exciting projects, with Alex's first feature film, A Fighting Chance, being a notable milestone in his career.
