Alex Rose Wiesel, a native of Southern California, was blessed with an innate sunny disposition and a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Musical Theatre Performance, which led to her first television contract for multiple episodes on the Disney Channel's sketch comedy show, So Random. Standing tall, with childhood modeling dreams that never fully materialized, Alex instead developed a resting, I'm-nice-ask-me-a-question-face expression. Undeterred, she continued to pursue comedy in television, while simultaneously studying and performing live on house teams with renowned improv theaters such as The Groundlings, Second City Hollywood, Nerdist, ACME, and iO West. At iO West, Alex was a founding member of the first all-female MainStage team, Pumps Comedy, with whom she traveled nationally and internationally to perform at numerous improv festivals. This over-achiever's accomplishments did not stop there, as Alex went on to earn a Master of Arts degree in Theatre Studies at California State University, Northridge and joined her alma mater AMDA (American Musical and Dramatic Academy) College of the Performing Arts, Los Angeles, as a professor in their acting faculty department.
