Alex Prager, born in 1979 and currently residing in Los Angeles, is a multifaceted American creative force, boasting a distinguished career as a director, artist, and screenwriter.

Her cinematic endeavors have been characterized by their unique visual and narrative approaches, setting her apart from her peers.

In 2010, Prager's film Despair, starring Bryce Dallas Howard, was showcased at the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) as part of the New Photography exhibit, alongside her photographic works.

Her subsequent film series, Touch of Evil (2011),boasted an impressive ensemble cast, featuring Brad Pitt, Gary Oldman, Michael Shannon, Jessica Chastain, George Clooney, Ryan Gosling, Kirsten Dunst, Glenn Close, Rooney Mara, Mia Wasikowska, Jean Dujardin, Viola Davis, and Adepero Oduye. Commissioned by The New York Times Magazine, this series earned Prager an Emmy Award.

Prager has also directed Elizabeth Banks, Cate Blanchett, and Riley Keough in various short films throughout her career.
