London was the birthplace of this individual, but they spent their formative years in the sun-kissed landscape of Palm Springs, California. As a student at Palm Springs High School, they excelled in multiple sports, lettering in baseball, tennis, and golf.

Their academic pursuits took them to Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. at the tender age of 16, a remarkable achievement. However, their time in the nation's capital was short-lived, as they soon found themselves under a long-term contract with Universal Studios, becoming part of the last group to benefit from this arrangement.

Before the age of 25, they made their Broadway debut, showcasing their talents to a wider audience. Their breakthrough in film came at the age of 25, marking the beginning of a successful career in Hollywood.

Throughout their television career, they have played a diverse range of roles, including a US Olympic middle-distance runner in the recreation of the First Olympics: Athens 1896, a Navy flyer aboard the USS JFK, and historical figures such as Custer and Burnside. They have had the privilege of working with some of the most renowned directors in the industry, including Steven Spielberg, Garry Marshall, Elaine May, Richard Donner, Delbert Mann, and J. Lee Thompson.

Their impressive list of co-stars includes some of the most iconic actors of their time, including Warren Beatty, Christopher Walken, Dustin Hoffman, Richard Gere, Julia Roberts, Virginia Madsen, Peter Cushing, Roddy McDowall, and Kate Mulgrew.

As a proud father, they welcomed their first son at the age of 31 and their second son at the age of 42. In addition to their acting career, they have also pursued their passion for golf, competing on the Celebrity Players Golf Tour from 1998 to 2006.

As a producer, they have been involved in the creation of two films, including their personal opus, "Three Days (of Hamlet)". In recent years, they have established themselves as a sought-after narrator of audiobooks, utilizing their dual cultural heritage to bring American and British accents, voices, and characters to life.
