Biography

Alex Colon, a talented supporting actor, embarked on his film career in the early 1970s, showcasing his versatility in a wide range of dramatic roles, including the religious drama "The Cross and the Switchblade" (1970),the heartwarming comedy "Harry and Tonto" (1974),and the fact-based action movie "Raid on Entebbe" (1976).

Colon's impressive career spanned over two decades, with his final film appearance in the action-packed thriller "The Getaway" (1994).

Born and raised in the vibrant culture of Puerto Rico, Colon was drawn to the bright lights of New York City, where he pursued his passion for stage acting in the early 1970s.

Making his Broadway debut in 1970, Colon took on the role of a feisty delivery boy in Neil Simon's critically acclaimed drama "The Gingerbread Lady".

In addition to his acting talents, Colon also showcased his skills behind the scenes, directing occasional theatrical productions in New York, Southern California, and his native Puerto Rico.
