Aleksandar Marks, a renowned director of great distinction, was ushered into this world on the twenty-ninth of June, nineteen hundred and twenty-two, in the charming town of Cazma, nestled within the borders of Croatia, a country that was then part of Yugoslavia, but is now an independent nation.
Throughout his illustrious career, Aleksandar Marks left an indelible mark on the world of cinema, leaving behind a legacy of iconic films that continue to captivate audiences to this very day. Some of his most notable works include "The Kind-Hearted Ant" (1966),a timeless classic that has stood the test of time, as well as "Mora" (1976) and "Ecce Homo" (1972),two masterpieces that showcased his unparalleled skill and artistry.
However, as with all things, Aleksandar Marks' life came to an end on the seventh of September, two thousand and two, in the vibrant city of Zagreb, Croatia, a place that held a special place in his heart.
