Alan's impressive career in the film industry spans three feature-length faith-based movies, each showcasing his multifaceted talents as writer, producer, and star.
His first film, "Sidewalk Singer", was released worldwide in January 2014 by Vision Video, and his second, "Mr. What", was distributed by Bridgestone Multimedia Group in February 2015.
The third and most recent film, "Fly Old Bird: Escape to the Ark", was distributed by Bridgestone Multimedia Group Global in March 2024.
Notably, all three films have received widespread recognition, earning Five Doves from The Dove Foundation and multiple awards at film festivals, including Best Feature, Best Feature Drama, Best Director, Best Actor, Best Cinematography, Best Screenplay, and Best Soundtrack.
In addition to his work in film, Alan has also written two Christian novels for B&H Publishing.
His numerous accolades include the Jefferson Award for outstanding public service, sponsored by Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, and induction into his high school's Distinguished Graduate Hall of Fame in 2001.
Alan's adventurous spirit has led him to participate in various physical challenges, including running three marathons, riding a bicycle across America, and even breaking the Guinness World Record for Balancing on One Foot to raise money for charity.
In his personal life, Alan has served three churches as a pastor and has been married for 45 years, raising three children and welcoming four grandchildren into his family.
