Gavica's feature-length directorial effort, Morenita: The Scandal, garnered widespread acclaim and numerous awards at international film festivals. His subsequent project, The Load (La Carga),received recognition at various global festivals, solidifying his reputation as a talented filmmaker.
In addition to his work in film, Gavica co-directed the short film Good Morning, Ignacio and made his U.S. television debut with Torn From Her Arms, a Lifetime drama based on true events.
