Born in the year nineteen hundred and sixty-two, in the Emerald Isle of Ireland, Alan Gilsenan is a multi-talented individual who has made a significant impact in the world of film and television as a director and writer. His impressive body of work includes the critically acclaimed "The Days of Trees" released in the year two thousand and twenty-three, as well as the thought-provoking "The Road to God Knows Where" from nineteen hundred and eighty-eight, and the poignant "Timbuktu" from two thousand and four.
