Alan Desatti was born in Tehran, Iran, and his life took a dramatic turn when he started watching films on television and going to the movies with his father in the early 1970s. This marked the beginning of his profound admiration for the world of film and acting.
The summer of 1976 was a pivotal moment in Alan's life, as he was deeply inspired by the movies he watched, including "Taxi Driver" (1975),"Dog Day Afternoon" (1975),and "One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest" (1975). This exposure ultimately persuaded him to pursue his dream of becoming an actor.
At the age of 16, Alan made the bold decision to move to Redlands, California, to finish his high school education. Following his high school graduation, he attended San Bernardino Valley College, where he began taking acting classes.
After earning his Bachelor of Science in Marketing and a Minor in Theater Arts from Cal State Dominguez Hills, Alan received acceptance into the prestigious acting program at The Loft Studio, a renowned institution that has produced notable actors such as Sean Penn, Michelle Pfeiffer, Johnny Depp, Chris Penn, Eric Stoltz, and Nicolas Cage. Under the guidance of esteemed acting teachers Peggy Feury and William Traylor, Alan honed his craft.
Upon the passing of Peggy Feury and William Traylor, Alan continued his studies with the legendary Stella Adler, Robert Lewis, Susan Peretz, and Jeffrey Marcus.
Throughout his career, Alan has appeared in a variety of TV and film projects, including "The Insider" (1999),"Terrorist On Trial" (1988),"Live From Baghdad" (2006),"The Shield" (2006),and "America So Beautiful" (2001),among others.
In addition to his passion for acting, Alan has a deep love for music, cooking, and traveling. When he is not acting, he devotes his time to exploring new films, listening to music, attending cooking classes, and exploring different parts of the world.
