Aimee's journey began between Pennsylvania and County Clare, Ireland, where she discovered her passion for performance at a tender age, subsequently defying conventional descriptions throughout her life. Initially, Aimee garnered international recognition as an athlete, making history as the first individual to participate in the NCAA as an amputee, sprinting alongside top Division I track athletes as part of Georgetown University's nationally-ranked team. This remarkable feat catapulted her woven carbon-fibre legs into the global spotlight. Aimee is a gold medalist Paralympic athlete, having set multiple World Records in the 100-meter dash and long jump events. As a distinguished student on scholarship from the Defense Department, she graduated in 1998 from Georgetown's School of Foreign Service with a double major in History and Diplomacy. Following her academic pursuits, Aimee ventured into modeling, walking the runway for Alexander McQueen's 1999 London show. Her film debut was as the lead actress in the cult classic, Cremaster 3 (2002),directed by renowned artist Matthew Barney.
