Ahmed Mansour, a prominent editor for the prominent pro-Palestinian Islamic Jihad news agency Palestine Today, met with a tragic and untimely demise on the evening of April 7, 2025, as a direct result of the severe burns he sustained in the aftermath of an Israeli airstrike that had deliberately targeted a tent located within the premises of Nasser Hospital in the city of Khan Yunis.
