Afzal Khan

Afzal Khan, professionally known as John Rambo, initially gained widespread recognition by portraying a janitor named John Rambo in Pakistan Television Corporation's (PTV) incredibly popular comedy show "Guest House". This iconic character, often referred to as Rambo, later became an unofficial screen-name adopted by Khan, inspired by the legendary Sylvester Stallone's iconic character. Interestingly, his on-screen persona in Guest House frequently fantasized about becoming a renowned movie star, and remarkably, the very same TV show facilitated his debut feature film role in real life. Subsequently, Khan went on to become one of the most prominent stars of the Pakistani film industry during the 1990s, a period when Lollywood's productions experienced a temporary resurgence in popularity.
