Adriana DeMeo, a first-generation Italian American with dual citizenship, was born into a family with a strong sense of loyalty and work ethic, instilled in her by her inspirational parents. Her father's side of the family now resides in the US, while her mother's side still calls a small town in Italy home. This unique blend of cultures has undoubtedly shaped Adriana's personality and worldview.
Growing up, Adriana was heavily involved in the performing arts, attending a prestigious performing arts high school where she was a lead in most of the plays throughout her high school career. Her exceptional talent and dedication earned her a spot in the Governor's School of the Arts of NJ, a highly competitive program that brought together top students from across the state.
Adriana's theatrical experience continued to flourish as she played the lead role of Puck in a rock and roll adaptation of Mid Summer Night's Dream at the Edinburg Fringe Festival. She graduated with honors from the Mason Gross School of the Arts and secured her first TV role before completing her degree.
Since then, Adriana has established herself as a versatile actress, taking on a wide range of roles in TV, film, commercials, voice-over work, and theatre. Some of her most notable credits include a recurring role on the Netflix limited series 7 Seconds and the groundbreaking same-sex indie love story, A New York Christmas Wedding. Her latest appearance was as Thora Mancini on NBC's New Amsterdam.
Throughout her busy career, Adriana has always made time for continued education, studying with renowned instructors such as Yale alum Gregory Berger Sobeck and Deborah Hedwall. When she's not working, Adriana loves to travel and indulge in her passion for live music. It's likely that she's seen her favorite band perform live at some point.
In addition to her acting career, Adriana is also the lead singer of the indie-electronic band Ghost Guns. The band was selected from a pool of 70 submissions to have a song featured on the compilation Isolation Illumination. With their first radio play under their belt, Ghost Guns is gearing up for their first live show in 2022.
