Adrian Frieling, a trailblazing German actor in Greece, has made a lasting impact on the country's theatre and film industries. With over 50 Greek theatre productions and 30+ movies to his credit, he has established himself as a versatile and accomplished artist.
Born in Hamburg, Germany, Frieling grew up in Bremen and developed a passion for the performing arts from a young age. He went on to study "Applied Cultural Sciences" at the University of Hildesheim, where he honed his skills in acting, directing, and fine arts.
Frieling's early career was marked by his association with the esteemed German theatre company "Theater Mahagoni," where he acted in over 20 productions and worked alongside some of the country's most renowned directors. He also performed in various productions in Hildesheim, Hannover, Berlin, Leipzig, and Jena.
In 1998, Frieling made the bold decision to relocate to Athens, Greece, where he has since established himself as a respected theatre director and actor. He has collaborated with some of Greece's most acclaimed directors, including Michael Marmarinos, Angela Brouskou, Yorgos Valais, Roula Pateraki, and Elli Papakonstantinou, among others.
In addition to his work in theatre, Frieling has also made a significant impact in film and television. He has acted in numerous productions directed by Vassilis Mazomenos, Haris Raftogiannis, Nikias Chryssos, Costa-Gavras, Nikos Panayotopoulos, Constantine Giannaris, Stathis Athanasiou, and Stefanos Tsivopoulos, among others.
