Biography

Adria Tennor's grandfather, Sam Tannenbaum, was a song-plugger for the renowned Irving Berlin, who, in an effort to assimilate into American culture, modified his German surname to Tennor. This cultural influence would later shape Adria's upbringing, as her grandmother taught her the iconic songs of Berlin's repertoire in the suburbs of Detroit, Michigan.

Adria's educational background includes studying acting and directing at the prestigious Tisch School of the Arts at New York University. Her early foray into the film industry began with a role in Hal Hartley's 1994 movie, Amateur, where she played a 12-year-old boy discussing pornography in Tompkins Square Park with an amnesiac.

As Adria's filmography expanded, she relocated to Los Angeles, where she continues to work consistently in both film and television. Additionally, she has showcased her solo work on stage, with notable performances including "There's Not a Lot of Coat Check Work in LA," "ElectroMagnetic Stripper," and "Strip Search," which was inspired by her studies in pole dancing at The S Factor Studio under the guidance of Sheila Kelley.

Beyond her acting pursuits, Adria is also a skilled writer, producer, and on-screen creator. Her films, Cracked (2015) and Pie (2018),have garnered international recognition and accolades, including awards and laurels. Furthermore, Adria stars in the digital series Fetish (2019),which she directed, co-created, and produced alongside her partner, Kristen Tracy.
