His directorial debut, Rap o canto da Ceilândia (2005),garnered an impressive thirteen Brazilian awards, solidifying his status as a rising talent in the industry.
Queirós continued to make waves in the film world with his documentary A cidade é uma só? (2010),which premiered at prestigious international festivals such as World Cinema Amsterdam, Brazilian Hollywood Festival, and BAFICI in Argentina.
His subsequent films, including White Out, Black In (2014),his fifth film and fourth documentary, received widespread acclaim, participating in prominent festivals such as the Brazilia Festival of Brazilian Cinema, Cartagena Film Festival, Hamburg Film Festival, Torino Film Festival, and IFFR+.
