Adam Scherr, an American professional wrestler, actor, and former strongman, was born in Sherrills Ford, North Carolina. He is an internationally recognized WWE Superstar, performing under the ring name Braun Strowman.
In the upcoming original food series, "Everything On The Menu with Braun Strowman", set to premiere on the USA Network in the fall of 2025, fans will get to see a unique side of the WWE Superstar as he embarks on a culinary journey across America.
In his WWE career, Scherr has achieved numerous accolades, including winning his first world title at WrestleMania 36 in 2020, becoming the WWE Universal Champion. He is also a two-time WWE Raw Tag Team Champion and WWE Intercontinental Champion. Additionally, he has won the 2018 Men's Money in the Bank contract, the WWE Greatest Royal Rumble Trophy and Championship, and the 2019 Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal.
Scherr has headlined numerous pay-per-view events, holding several records, including the most eliminations in a single Elimination Chamber match with five, tied with Brock Lesnar for the most eliminations in a single Royal Rumble match with 13, and the most eliminations in a single Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal with 14. He has also been portrayed as an unstoppable monster, earning the moniker "The Monster Among Men" throughout his appearances with WWE.
Prior to his WWE career, Scherr earned his Strongman Corporation (ASC) Professional Card by winning the NAS Amateur National Championships on November 5, 2011. He went on to win the 2012 Arnold Amateur Strongman Championships on March 4, earning an invite to the 2013 Arnold Strongman Classic.
