Biography

Adam Poss, a native of Chicago, splits his time between his hometown and New York and Los Angeles. He is a proud member of SAG-AFTRA and Actors Equity.

Adam recently made his Broadway debut in the American premiere of "Patriots", written by Peter Morgan, directed by Rupert Goold, and co-produced by Netflix.

His television credits include a recurring role on Chicago Med (NBC),The Big Leap (FOX),Empire (FOX),Paper Girls (AMAZON),Shameless (SHOWTIME),NeXt (FOX),Chicago Fire (NBC),Chicago PD (NBC),Crisis (NBC),The Chicago Code (FOX),The Mob Doctor (FOX),and the pilots Controversy (FOX) and No Apologies (FOX).

On film, he has been seen in Another Happy Day, Bar Fight!, The Middle Distance, The King of U.R.L.'s, and The Drunk.

Adam has also appeared in several national commercials, including US Bank, Ford, and Cricket Wireless.

As a Chicago actor, he has worked at various notable theaters, including Chicago Shakespeare, Goodman Theatre, Steppenwolf Theatre, Writers Theatre, Victory Gardens, Remy Bumppo, Silk Road Rising, and 16th Street.

Regionally, he has worked across the country at the Denver Center for Performing Arts, Actors Theatre of Louisville, Studio Theatre DC, Cincinnati Rep, Milwaukee Rep, Indiana Rep, Ensemble Theatre Company Santa Barbara, Kansas City Rep, and TheatreWorks Silicon Valley.

Adam is a graduate of The Theatre School at DePaul University and an ensemble member of Erasing The Distance, an organization that dedicates itself to using theatre and true stories to erase the stigmas that surround mental health.
