Adam Dorsey, a Boston-born actor, embarked on a journey to California in 2005 after completing his college education, driven by a passion for acting. Although his arrival in Los Angeles led him to explore politics, serving as Deputy Los Angeles Fundraiser for Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, he eventually transitioned to acting in 2012.
After quitting his day job and enrolling in the Stella Adler Acting Academy full-time, Adam earned a scholarship in exchange for teaching yoga at the Academy. He also honed his skills at the Groundlings, combining his love for the stage and improv.
Upon graduating from Stella Adler in 2014, Adam co-created "Americanadians," a unique sketch comedy group with Keaton Kaplan, and began producing sketches and short films with a small group of New York Film Academy graduates.
Throughout his career, Adam has appeared in over 40 films and TV shows, and his outstanding performance as Mark in "Grip" earned him the Best Actor award at the Hollywood International Moving Pictures Film Festival in 2019.
In 2021, Adam landed his first two leading roles in feature films, playing Sam Paxton in "The Pharm" and Detective Darren Hawk in "Women."
Recently, Adam secured a supporting role in the Sci-Fi Thriller "Obscura" and wrapped up filming for another lead role in the upcoming Drama "Refuge."
Aside from his acting career, Adam is also a yoga and breathwork instructor. He believes that life is lived with a balance of strong discipline and a sense of humor, combining his study of yoga and acting.
