Biography

Adam Baroni was born on December 11, 1978, in South Shields, England, to Pamela and Derek Brown, who are also the parents of Paul Brown and Derek Brown Jr.

As a young boy, Adam found himself obsessed with films and wrestling. His school reports described him as a "daydreamer," but Adam knew exactly what he was passionate about even at such a young age. In his final GCSE exams, he was kicked out of drama class because he didn't understand the importance of coursework in a practical subject.

At the age of 16, Adam left school to find work, but options were slim, so he started his adult years as a trainee carpenter. He remained in that profession until 1998, when he decided to pursue his passions.

Adam began bodybuilding in 1999, sculpting and shaping his body to enter staged contests. He placed third in the NABBA NORTH Junior class in 1999 and qualified for Mr Britain. In 2000, he became Mr International Pendle Valley Junior. Adam continued to be successful in bodybuilding and in 2001, he began his journey in wrestling, taking part in his first wrestling show in December 2001.

By June 2002, Adam had flown to America to wrestle for the HOPWF/NWL and became the NWL cruiser weight champion. This led to Adam being featured in many local newspapers back in England, and he returned to England late 2002 to train others how to wrestle.

In 2004, Adam decided it was time to pursue films, and in 2006, he left wrestling to concentrate on his new venture. Before doing so, he placed fourth in the NABBA Mr Britain Novice class. In 2007, Adam landed his first acting role in a short student film, "Me, My lass and Chris Green," directed by Gary Collinson, who now runs 'Flickering Myth.'

From 2007-2011, Adam featured in a number of small independent films to gain experience in the industry. In 2011, he landed a role in "Sophie's Fortune," directed by Chris Cronin. The film has gone on to win three awards at the 'Portsmouth International Film Festival 2014' for "Best Comedy," "Best Musical Score," and "Best VFX."

Adam went on to feature in another film by Chris Cronin, "Moments," in 2013, and the short film has been nominated for numerous awards since its completion. In 2013, he became Mr British Isles at the USN Mr & Miss British Isles show. He then went on to place second in the NAC Mr UK open show.

Alongside the "Sophie's Fortune" crew, Adam was nominated for 'Best Supporting Actor' in 2014 for his role as 'Butch' in the action hit. Adam is set to work on the feature film "Rhumblerama" in 2014, which is a wrestling comedy by Andrew Carson.
