Throughout his journey, Chaidez held various jobs, including construction, computer technology, and mechanics, while simultaneously nurturing his passion for filmmaking. His unwavering commitment to his craft was evident, as he enrolled in acting and writing classes with renowned instructors Larry and Bobbie Chance.

Chaidez's professional acting career commenced with a role in the independent film "Legend of Baja," followed by notable co-starring roles in the HBO TV series "Entourage," where he portrayed Pablo Escobar's father, and the ShowTime TV series "Weeds," alongside Mary Louise-Parker and Justin Kirk.
