Biography

Abhishek Bachchan is a multifaceted individual who has made a significant impact in the entertainment industry. He is an actor, producer, singer, voice-over artiste, and entrepreneur who has been a part of over 70 films.

Born on February 5th, 1976, in Mumbai, India, to Bollywood legends Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan, Abhishek was sent to Aiglon College in Switzerland and later enrolled in Boston University to study Arts. However, he dropped out of college to pursue his acting career, making his debut in JP Dutta's Refugee in 2000.

Abhishek's early success came with his portrayal of an angsty young goon in Yuva, which earned him the Filmfare 'Best Supporting Actor' Award. He continued to impress with his performances in Sarkar, Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna, Dostana, Paa, and Bol Bachchan.

In his personal life, Abhishek is married to actor Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and they have a daughter, Aaradhya Bachchan. Time Magazine listed them as one of the most influential Indians in 2007, and they appeared on the Oprah Winfrey Show in 2009.

Throughout his career, Abhishek has demonstrated his versatility by taking on a wide range of roles in films such as Yuva, Dhoom, Sarkar, Bluffmaster, Guru, Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna, Paa, Bol Bachchan, and Happy New Year. Abhishek returned to films in 2018 with the critically acclaimed Manmarziyaan. He has also lent his voice to several projects, including the Hindi dub of Mowgli on Netflix and the lead role in season two of Breathe on Amazon Prime Video.

As a singer, Abhishek has attempted rapping and has released the song 'Right Here Right Now' from Bluffmaster. He continues to be one of the most sought-after and dependable actors in the industry, known for his strong roles and versatility.
