Abhishek Bachchan, also known as Abhi, was born on February 20, 1990, in the vibrant city of Bombay, which is now officially known as Mumbai, India. However, he spent most of his formative years in the picturesque city of Pittsburgh, where he attended the prestigious Shadyside Academy. During his time at Shadyside, Abhi was a talented and competitive hockey player, while also honing his skills as a saxophonist, an ability that would later earn him recognition and awards.
As a middle school student, Abhi's exceptional saxophone playing began to garner attention and accolades, setting the stage for a lifelong passion for music. Following his time at Shadyside, Abhi and his family relocated to the west coast, where he attended The Webb Schools and began to explore his creative side by acting in school productions.
After graduating from Webb, Abhi took a break from his studies to pursue a career in acting, attending the University of Southern California (USC) for his freshman year before taking an indefinite leave of absence. This bold move allowed him to focus on his acting ambitions, which would eventually lead him to become a talented and accomplished actor.
In his free time, Abhi enjoys playing the saxophone, a skill he has honed over the years, as well as engaging in tennis and ice-hockey, two sports that he is equally passionate about.
