His debut film, "Live from Dhaka", premiered in 2016 and garnered immense acclaim, winning not one but two prestigious awards at the 27th Singapore International Film Festival. The film received the Silver Screen Awards for Best Director and Best Performance, cementing Saad's position as a talented filmmaker to watch out for.
Fast forward to 2021, his second feature film, "Rehana Maryam Noor", made a splash at the esteemed Cannes Film Festival, being selected for the Un Certain Regard section. This remarkable achievement was followed by another significant honor, as "Rehana Maryam Noor" earned Saad the Jury Grand Prize at the Asia Pacific Screen Awards.
