Aaron, a native Torontonian, embarked on his cinematic journey at an early age, delving into the realm of animation under the tutelage of the Art Gallery of Ontario.
After completing his studies at York University's esteemed film production department, Aaron entered the industry, honing his skills as a television writer, stop-motion animator, and editor, earning two prestigious Screen Award nominations.
His impressive portfolio boasts a string of award-winning short films, and his feature debut, Rhinoceros Eyes, a 2003 Toronto International Film Festival Discovery Award winner, starring the talented Michael Pitt.
Aaron's subsequent projects included Tennessee, an indie road drama starring Mariah Carey and produced by Lee Daniels, and The Entitled, a 2011 thriller featuring the versatility of Ray Liotta.
Aaron's recent endeavors have been animated features, showcasing his versatility in the medium: Spark: A Space Tail, a 2016 space adventure boasting the vocal talents of Hilary Swank, Jessica Biel, Susan Sarandon, and Patrick Stewart, and Arctic Dogs, a 2019 animated film starring Jeremy Renner, Alec Baldwin, James Franco, Anjelica Huston, Heidi Klum, and John Cleese.
