His debut solo show, "The Infinite Faces Of Chenny Baby", made a significant impact on the Australian comedy scene, garnering sold-out crowds and rave reviews, culminating in him being awarded the prestigious Best Newcomer title at both the 2017 Melbourne International Comedy Festival and Sydney Comedy Festival.
Aaron's 2017 was marked by a series of remarkable events. Unbeknownst to him, his live reporting at the Liverpool vs Sydney game in May would catapult him to fame as the face of Snoccer, following a controversial interview that went viral and sparked both admiration and disdain among fans.
In the same year, Aaron made his debut on ABC TV with his own Tonight Show, "Aaron Chen Tonight", filmed live at Café Lounge in Surry Hills and broadcast nationwide.
