A graduate of the prestigious SUNY Purchase film program, this individual's impressive portfolio boasts an award-winning half-hour thesis film, "I'm Only There...", which starred none other than renowned actress Melissa Leo, a fellow Purchase-ite. Upon graduation, the individual received invaluable guidance from esteemed professor and filmmaker Aram Avakian, who helped secure their first job as an apprentice film editor for Susan Morse on the Woody Allen-directed "Broadway Danny Rose".
Throughout their career, the individual has been diligently writing screenplays, optioning several projects, including one to the acclaimed producer/director Ralph Bakshi and another to the producers Mary Salter and Kim Myers. In the early 1990s, they were hired to write and direct for the show "Afterdrive" on the fledgling "HA!" network, which later transformed into Comedy Central, where they collaborated with the talented comedian Dennis Leary.
In the early 2000s, the individual developed a nighttime drama for Fox Broadcasting. Today, they reside in Brooklyn and proudly co-chair the Dramatic Writing program at SUNY Purchase, sharing their expertise and experience with the next generation of filmmakers.
