Yu Ming, a Chinese convenience store clerk, feels unfulfilled and decides to take a leap of faith. After randomly selecting Ireland on a globe, he becomes fascinated with the country and teaches himself Irish. He travels to Dublin, only to discover that his language skills are not as effective as he hoped. However, things take a surprising turn when he tries to find work at a local bar.
